Let’s say you’ve annotated an image and it’s safely stored in a note in OneNote. Move the annotated image later in OneNote Right-click the container containing the annotated image and select the Copy link to paragraph option. I’ve inserted the image on the left with relevant text on the right. You can type or insert stuff anywhere you want, instantly creating a container that you can then move or link to from the same or another note. That’s one of the many things I love about OneNote. You can then link to the container where the image is located. You can insert the picture in the same note, but in a position or location where you don’t need to move it later preferably in a corner or under or above the note.
They want to view the image and the rest of the research material on the same screen, and preferably at the same time. But visual and creative people will not appreciate it. It only takes a second to click the link to this new note with the annotated image in OneNote. Especially if you have a setup with two monitors.ģ. While that’s not the ideal solution and other note taking apps like Evernote handle it much better, it can still work.
You no longer have to move and mess the image around up the annotations.
Select the text you want to link and press Ctrl + K (Command + K on Mac) to paste the link. Right-click the note with the annotated image and select Copy link to page. You can avoid that situation altogether by saving the image in a separate note and linking to it from the original. Why do you need to move the picture after annotating it in OneNote? Probably because you want to rearrange other text or elements in a container. Save the picture in a new note and make notes
